PowerJet offers the new SaM146 propulsion system for regional aircraft
The regional jet market is heading for dynamic growth, with projected demand for more than 4,000 aircraft over the next 20 years. Regional carriers face a growing number of economic, operational and environmental challenges – challenges they can meet with the help of PowerJet.
PowerJet is in charge of all SaM146 program management tasks, encompassing design, production, marketing, sales and support. Sukhoi Superjet 100 As its first application, the SaM146 has been successfully integrated into the all-new Sukhoi Superjet 100. Developing 13,500 to 17,500 pounds of thrust, the SaM146 is a perfect fit for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 family.
